Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Peridot, AZ. The MLT will perform laboratory testing and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, ensuring accurate and timely results in compliance with established protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids.
• Prepare and analyze specimens using standard laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of all laboratory procedures, test results, and quality control checks.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of specimens.
• Follow laboratory safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
• Participate in quality assurance and proficiency testing programs.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Current ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or equivalent.
• Valid MLT license (if required by state regulations).
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

• Clinical laboratory setting in a healthcare facility.
• Exposure to biological specimens and chemicals; strict adherence to safety protocols is required.
