💷 Salary: £15.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Worker / Supervised Contact Worker to join our dedicated team. In this rewarding role, you will support children, young people, and families during supervised contact sessions, ensuring that interactions take place in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
You will also provide one-to-one support to children and families, promoting their emotional well-being, safeguarding their welfare, and helping them to build healthy relationships and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and record contact sessions between children, parents, and family members in line with safeguarding guidelines.

Produce detailed, factual, and professional reports for local authorities and social workers.
*
Support children and families in line with individual care or contact plans.
*
Ensure the safety, welfare, and dignity of all participants during sessions.
*
Provide transport for children where necessary (mileage reimbursed).
*
Communicate effectively with social workers, carers, and other professionals.
Requirements
*
Experience working with children, young people, or families (essential).
*
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
*
Excellent communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
*
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
*
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
