Pay Rate Range: $20.00 – $23.23/hr on W2
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain Lab equipment
- Provide support for third party vendors performing required equipment calibration
- Conduct lab test according to lab testing procedures
- Record test results on computerized SPC charts
- Communicate with operators and business group representatives
- Maintain lab supplies
- Attend unit pre-trial meetings
- Participate in equipment safety reviews
- Work independently as the only testing technician in the lab
- Conduct polymer property testing using the following equipment:
- Hardness Gauges
- APA
- LCR
- Tensile Tester
- Moisture analyzer
- Mahr tester
- Run small extruder
- Color use Hunter Lab scan
- Die Cutter
- Density Tester
- Injection molding
Qualifications:
- Excellent safety record and fundamental knowledge of pilot plant and or laboratory safety
- Experience in lab operations, including use of computer control
- Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting lab equipment
- Ability to run or learn to run analytical tests required to support pilot plant operations
- Excellent teamwork with the ability to manage all aspects of executing test plans supporting required by run engineers/technical liaisons.
