We’re seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse contractor to provide in-home care. This 1099 Independent Contractor role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work outside traditional clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.

Provide basic support with ambulation, transfers, and safe positioning.

Assist with meal preparation and basic nutrition reminders.

Perform light housekeeping duties to promote a clean and safe home environment.

Offer companionship and engage in appropriate supportive interaction.

Document time worked and services rendered per agency requirements.

Report observed changes in patient condition to designated agency personnel.

Maintain confidentiality and patient dignity in accordance with HIPAA and agency standards.
ASSIGNMENT LIMITATIONS:

Contractor shall not administer medications or perform any clinical procedures.

Contractor shall not modify care plans or provide medical advice.

Contractor shall not offer or arrange transportation services.

Contractor shall not supervise others or represent UEW in any official capacity.
Qualifications:
LICENSURE & QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
In some states, completion of a state-approved PCA training program may be required.
-
In some states, PCA contractors must be listed on the applicable aide registry or credential database.

Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
-
Previous experience in personal care, home health, or caregiving strongly preferred.

Reliable personal transportation required for travel to patient homes and the regional office, as needed.
Pay Range:
USD $18.00 – USD $21.00 /Yr.
