Applications Product Specialist

Our client requires an Applications Product Specialist to enhance patient care by supporting diagnostic instruments in the North of England and Scotland. They are committed to rewarding their employees for their impactful challenging work.
You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements:
Essential:
BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent (other relevant Healthcare Science Degree).
Over 3 years of laboratory experience.
Strong knowledge of clinical Histopathology, especially IHC techniques.
Familiarity with company products.
Desirable:
IBMS Specialist Diploma in Cellular Pathology.
MSc in Biomedical Science/Cellular Pathology.
You will be responsible for
Offering remote and on-site technical support for RTD's instruments.
Installing and validate instruments at customer sites.
Supporting cellular pathology instruments, including HE 600 and DP 200.
Planning and managing fieldwork and travel arrangements autonomously.
Troubleshooting issues and provide effective solutions.

Location: North England and Scotland (Remote with ad-hoc visit to Burgess Hill)
Salary: £200 – £230 per day (PAYE) OR £265.27 – £305.27 per day (UMB)
