ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Process Technician with a biotechnology company. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity located in New Albany, OH.
Summary:
This role will routinely perform moderately-complex to complex processes according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Specific responsibilities include inspection and packaging of product-filled vials per procedures and batch records. This position requires working a flexible schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, rotating between 3-day and 4-day work weeks, and includes working every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection and packaging of product-filled vials per procedures and batch records
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment
- Assist or participate in other manufacturing operations, including filling support activities and internal support operations (e.g., stocking items, tracking inventory, material movement)
- Recognize and report equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments
- Understand, follow, and document batch records for the inspection and packaging process
- Reconcile components and products, and calculate product exposure to room temperature
- Train new technicians on routine tasks
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED with 1 year of work or military experience, OR an Associate's degree
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with equipment operation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system
- Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Desired skills:
- Previous manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience
- Experience with filling and finishing manufacturing, preferably vial inspection
Pay range: up to $23.55 per hour
