Job Description
This role is on-site in Sanford, NC.
Conduct wet-chemistry and instrumental analytical chemistry analysis on in-process, final batch concentrate (FBC), monovalent bulk concentrate (MBC) sample types.

Preparing analytical standards, buffers and reagents.

Setting up and performing various bioanalytical and colorimetric assays such as: ELISAs (direct, indirect, Sandwich, or competitive), SDS-PAGE, Lowry/BCA/Bradford, DNA Picogreen, Western blots, qPCR, and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE).

Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments such as spectrophotometers, nanodrop, Maurice or PA800 plus (icIEF/CE), chromatography systems, Real-time PCR instruments, pH/conductivity meters, various scales/balances, centrifuges, automated liquid handling units, etc.

Calculating results using Excel spreadsheets and/or instrumental software (Compass, Softmax, Empower, etc.)

Documenting results in electronic laboratory notebooks and reviewing notebooks of peers

Supporting senior analytical chemists on various projects as assigned

Utilizing technical knowledge to identify, troubleshoot, and assist with resolution of process problems
Due to close work with specific bacterial strains, the following vaccinations will be offered by the company:
