CAMHS Practitioner (RMN/SW)

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking to speak with Registered Mental Health Nurses and Registered Social Workers for a contract role working within a CAMHS service in Preston.

The post will be to provide a robust risk assessment, care plan and safety plan within the Emergency Department at Royal Preston Hospital, for Children and Young people who have attended following an incident of self harm, or who are presenting with suicidal ideation/in crisis.

Main duties include;

* To ensure that all CYP are supported or signposted on discharge and received a 7 day follow up appointment.

* To ensure that all documentation following the assessment is clear and accurate.

* To ensure that any young people who are deemed to need inpatient care are identified and the process is followed.

* To work closely with the Rapid Assessment and Intensive Support Team to ensure that all CYP are provided with support.

Hours: Full Time/Part Time (8am-4pm or 9am to 5pm – Flexible working available.
Days: Monday – Friday
Contract: 6 Months (+ongoing)
Band: 6
Salary: Upto £25.00 per hour

The applicant must be a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Social Worker.
