We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented professional to support the model development and migration processes. This role involves migrating and validating XGBoost-based machine learning models originally developed in Java into Python using a custom-built internal framework. The successful candidate will work closely with PySpark engineers, platform teams, and validation teams to ensure metric parity.
Skills Required
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience with Python for machine learning, especially XGBoost, scikit-learn, and NumPy/pandas.
- Proficiency in PySpark for reading, transforming, and analyzing large datasets stored in parquet format.
- Experience in validating or reverse engineering machine learning models from business logic or legacy implementations.
- Exposure to Java-based machine learning libraries or understanding of how internals map across languages.
- Hands-on experience with Python frameworks for meta-modeling libraries.
