Job Description:
As a Data Scientist/AI Engineer, you will focus on optimizing the API portfolio by leveraging AI and advanced analytics. This role involves categorizing and classifying existing APIs, predicting the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of new APIs, and providing AI-driven insights to enhance the developer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis using statistical techniques to interpret datasets, identify patterns, and predict outcomes.
- Translate complex software architecture challenges into AI and analytics-based solutions.
- Communicate findings through reports, charts, and data visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Define and integrate key data sources to deliver predictive and generative AI models.
- Design, build, train, and validate predictive ML models and generative AI solutions using Python, R, and SQL.
- Develop custom pipelines for data ingestion, embedding generation, and indexing in vector databases.
- Apply knowledge of API and microservice architecture patterns to data analysis tasks.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data preparation and model development.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI, BigQuery, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Familiarity with vector databases like Vertex AI Vector Search or Cloud SQL.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to diverse audiences.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
