We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Healthcare Technology Management to lead a growing team at a leading hospital in Boston. The Director will oversee clinical and technical operations, manage biomedical and imaging services, and drive operational excellence. This position requires a strong background in healthcare technology management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop clinical and technical staff to ensure high performance, retention, and professional growth
- Oversee capital planning, technology assessments, and project management to enhance operational efficiency and innovation
- Serve as the main liaison with clients, building strong partnerships and ensuring high levels of patient and client satisfaction
- Manage purchasing, subcontracts, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance to optimize cost efficiency and service delivery
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a skilled, high-performing workforce
- Drive organic growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding services, and strengthening client relationships
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including CIHQ, DNV, and TJC
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 5 years managing biomedical and imaging services in a large healthcare system
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of clinical devices
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and operational best practices
- Proven financial management skills with experience making sound budgetary and operational decisions
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and develop talent
- Professional presence and ability to engage confidently with executive leadership
