Overview:
The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD) is seeking an Indexing and Quality Assurance Specialist to review information in OnBase for clarity, orientation, readability, accuracy, and other quality assurance factors; contact staff regarding corrections; assist with all areas of records..  The nature of work will include, but is not limited to the following: 

Review assigned percentage of documents that have been scanned into the OnBase document management system for clarity, orientation, readability and other quality assurance factors as directed.

Index documents as directed by administrative staff.

Contact staff regarding indexing errors and/or other quality issues per the established work flow process.

Follow up as needed with staff regarding required corrections per the established work flow process.

Prepare documents as directed by administrative staff for scanning into the OnBase system.

Scan documents as directed by administrative staff using proper electronic equipment.

Assist with file retrieval and moving file boxes as needed.

Fill records requests as per standards from a variety of external and internal parties.

Destroy by shredding, paper documents which have been scanned and indexed as directed by administrative staff as needed.

Provide back up assistance to the records team.

Develop a system of continues records audits of on-site records.

Assist with ongoing assignments for records clerks and replacement assignments, if assigned and when needed.

Provide oversight of production and report trends or patterns to supervisor, if assigned and when needed.

Monitor day to day needs/changes of clerks and coordinate follow up with supervisor, if assigned and when needed.

 PERSONAL CONTACTS: Frequent contact with Cuyahoga DD staff regarding work flow and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 

Clerical experience and a working knowledge of electronic scanning processes; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Experience with a variety of computer software applications.
