JOB SUMMARY

Performs procedures and related duties, according to established standards and practices, to obtain data to use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Position includes phlebotomy skills and assistance with bone marrow biopsy procedures. Ensures that all services are delivered with the mission and spirit values at Carroll Hospital Center.

REQUIREMENTS
Associate’s Degree Degree in Medical Technology or related science. Completion of Clinical Lab training from an accredited hospital based program.
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Previous experience required
Lab Certification Required – 10 yrs MLT experience for grandfather clause, CLT – Certified Clinical Lab Tech, MLS – Certified Medical Lab Scientist or MLT – Certified Medical Lab Technician

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral required in order to effectively interact with hospital personnel and outside contacts.
