THE ROLE:

THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn new technologies and a collaborative mindset to enable key application solutions in a team environment. Effective communication with multi-functional teams and executive management is essential, along with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a constantly evolving technology landscape.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End-to-end application and feature development.
- Solution development with a production end-state in mind.
- Own new features from design to production release.
- Work closely with architects and domain experts to deliver appropriate technical solutions.
- Review code and provide peer feedback.
- Participate and lead Agile backlog grooming, story creation, and sizing.
- Guide a team of peer data scientists on technical and project related activities.
- Interact professionally with business partners, external partners and key contacts.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated record of development and implementation of advanced Data Science analytics solutions.
- Experience with one of the major cloud platforms.
- Practical experience in the entire software lifecycle – Gathering requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Maintenance.
- Experience in operational functions like product development, supply chain and/or manufacturing.
- Experience with Python, SQL and Java.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- MS in Computer Science, Data Science or related fields.
