Locum Physiotherapist – Reablement Services (Car Driver)

Location: Brighton
Contract Type: Locum / Temporary
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1 Year Contract

Are you a passionate Physiotherapist looking to make a real impact in a community-based setting? We’re currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist to join the supportive team delivering vital reablement services to service users.

About the Role:

* This is a rewarding opportunity to work with individuals recovering from illness or injury, helping them regain independence and mobility.

* You'll be supporting service users through tailored rehabilitation and exercise programmes, focusing on improving mobility, balance, and functional independence.

* You'll play a key role in early discharge planning, using your clinical judgement to assess reablement potential and create personalised therapy plans that support recovery at home or in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessing patients’ physical function and mobility needs

* Developing and implementing personalised reablement plans

* Promoting safe, goal-oriented rehabilitation in a residential care setting

* Liaising with the wider MDT to plan early, safe discharges

* Supporting service users to achieve independence in daily living activities

Requirements:

* HCPC registered Physiotherapist

* Experience in reablement, community, or rehab settings preferred

* Strong assessment and discharge planning skills

* Excellent communication and teamworking abilities
