Immediate need for a talented QA Automation Tester.This is a 12+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in New York,NY. Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $58-$64/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

8+ years hands on Selenium professional development work experience in the industry

Experience in UI and database testing, and ability to write SQL scripts to analyse data and perform specific data queries

Proficiency applying Core Java/ Python development in any automation frameworks

Experience working with BDD (Behavioural Driven Development), Cumber based framework

Automating middleware messages testing for SOAP and/or REST using XML/JSON.

Experience with source control versioning systems such as GIT, BitBucket or similar tools

Experience in the Agile Methodology and agile work management tools such as JIRA or similar

Deep understanding of the software development and QA life cycle processes

Experience in strategizing, design and planning of automation for applications

Experience in Test management tools (Client ALM, Quality Centre, JIRA or QTest)

Working experience in Continues delivery pipeline [CICD] tools [Jenkins, Maven, or similar]

Excellent written & verbal communication, ability to multitask, work well under demanding situations, prioritize and meet deadline

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Coordination skills and ability to work seamlessly with geographically dispersed teams.

Experience with Mobile Automation using Appium, Espresso and/or XCUITest

Experience using tools like Perfecto, Sauce Lab or similar

Experience in ETL test automation, thick client automation are nice to have skills

Familiarity with Banking systems and financial domain knowledge can add value
