JD:
This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and compliance of SAP implementations and migrations, particularly in the transition from ECC to S/4HANA. You will work in a hands-on functional QA capacity, while also contributing to team leadership and project coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Strategy: Define and execute comprehensive test strategies across unit, integration, regression, and UAT phases for SAP SCM/MM/F2D modules.
- Test Execution: Perform end-to-end manual testing for scenarios such as purchase orders, goods receipts, stock transfers, and material master data updates using Client ALM.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and resolve defects using tools like Client ALM, JIRA, or Solution Manager, ensuring timely closure and validation.
- Automation Collaboration: Partner with automation teams to script and maintain test scenarios for Fiori applications and backend processes. Experience with TOSCA is highly desirable.
- Migration Support: Actively participate in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, including test planning, data validation, and cutover support.
- Fiori Enablement: Test and support Fiori apps such as Manage Purchase Orders, Post Goods Receipt, and Stock – Single Material.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure test activities meet compliance standards including SOX and GDPR.
- Documentation & Training: Create detailed test documentation, functional specs, and training materials for end users.
- Team Leadership: Provide regular status updates, lead QA efforts in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and support cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with SAP, with a strong background in ECC and S/4HANA
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP P2P, MM, SCM, F2D, and WM processes.
- Strong experience with HANA database and simplified data models in S/4HANA.
- Hands-on functional experience with SAP configuration and excellent backend understanding
- Experience with manual validation in TOSCA
- Strong experience with Client ALM for test and defect management.
- Experience with Fiori UI validation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
