Title: QA Specialist – Sr
Location: Mclean, VA (3 days in-office, Mon–Thurs optional, Fri remote)
Duration: 6 months possible extension
Salary Range: $45 – $49.80
Overview:
The candidate will be supporting a credit card conversion project within a financial services organization. Its is small team (currently three members) focused on validating credit card authorization functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases simulating various credit card usage scenarios.
- writing and maintaining test cases.
- Validate authorization flows using internal tools.
- Confirm expected outcomes through backend verification.
- Document test results and maintain testing artifacts.
- Communicate cross-functionally to ensure accurate validation when upstream systems are involved.
Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing roles.
- Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in large enterprises.
- Familiarity or working knowledge of Splunk.
- Understanding of green screen environments (familiarity with TSYS or similar systems is a plus).
- Exposure to or experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven testing.
- Exp. with Gherkin will be good to have
