JOB DESCRIPTION:100% REMOTE12 MONTH CONTRACT- NOT SLATED TO GO FULL TIME OR BE EXTENDED AT THIS TIME.Working in the Real Estate Valuation Quality Assurance Department.This position is in the quality assurance department in Real Estate Valuation. Will only be working in the residential space. Open because for every loan that is in forbearance, before they exit forbearance, an appraisal must be done. Due to COVID, a large amount of residential loans moved into forbearance. _Job Summary:_Must be certified or a trainee or an appraisal Admin – real estate appraiser with primary focus of experience in residential valuations. Must be able to work 40 hours/week reviewing broker and appraisal valuation products for Default Servicing. Must work from home office with secured private internet source.Corporate review experience is desired. National or regional review scope or exposure in review experience is also a plus (not within their geographically competent footprint) Outside work is acceptable as long as it does not involve Wells Fargo in order to avoid conflict of interest, nor does it interfere with meeting demands of this position.Must be willing to set up your own laptop and follow guided training modules with full comprehension and retention.Appraisals will be entered into the CMS system and the system determines what level of review is required. They are working on national data sets so they do not need to understand local/state guidelines. They will not be completing appraisals themselves but will be reviewing the work of appraisers and broker/agents performing a standardized Quality Control process application. They will be following a review guide – ensuring that there are proper documents attached, reaching out in the system if anything is missing. All loan types will be reviewed, from all states. All residential, there will be no Commercial properties. _Candidates may continue to conduct their personal appraisal business outside of scheduled working hours, as long as it is not for this financial institution. _- Responsible for handling the most complex quality assurance and assesses problems and issues to ensure activities follow the necessary internal and external regulatory and risk management practices. – These resources will be reviewing the work of others as part of the underwriting process – ie. determining accuracy of value assessment, confirming comps used are truly comparable, etc. – The resources will not be completing appraisals themselves but will be reviewing the work of appraisers and broker/agents performing a standardized QC process application. – They are not opining on value.- Realtors/Brokers who have experience completing Broker Price Opinions and Evaluations; – Must have appraiser certification – Responsible for performing quality reviews of residential valuations; ensuring adherence to regulatory and Wells Fargo compliance requirementsEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS NECESSARY: – Certified appraiser – 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: quality assurance, financial services administration, loan documentation, loan servicing, underwriting or risk evaluation demonstrated through work or military experience – Advanced Microsoft Office skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills – Ability to interact with all levels of an organization SKILLS:real estate appraiser, Title, Quality assurance, Mortgage, Underwriting, Appraisal, Mortgage processing, real estate, ForbearanceTOP SKILLS DETAILS:real estate appraiserADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:HS Diploma5+ years of recent experience in Real Estate, Mortgage Brokerage, or Mortgage Underwriting.
