Quality Assurance Coordinator/Stevensville
In this Quality Assurance Coordinator/Analyst role, you will be an integral part of the Noble Supply & Logistics Quality team, responsible for conducting case file and record reviews for compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement or corrective actions and ensuring contractual performance expectations are met. You will review quality assurance standards, and consult and meet with personnel from other organizations, suppliers, and customers to evaluate effectiveness of the quality assurance program. This role requires that you submit weekly quality assurance reports and present consistent feedback to management regarding areas that require and necessitate improvement. These responsibilities will be discharged under the authority delegated by the Director of Quality.
Support quality oversight and audit activities from government agencies such as the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other government oversight agencies.
Assist customer/government source inspectors, as necessary.
Inspect and approve incoming products and materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection of parts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by the contract requirements
Investigate customer complaints and product issues
Collaborate and consult with other associated organizations and business units regarding current quality control issues and activities
Prepare and submit all reports required by the Director of Quality Assurance
Monitor and report all supplier quality activities, processes, and procedures
Knowledgeable and experienced in the review of contractual quality and flow down requirements
Provides quality support and oversight to contract execution from the sales and procurement phase to contract completion
Responsible for supplier quality oversight, audit activities and performance
Responsible for the issuance of Supplier Corrective Actions Requests (SCAR) to address supplier deficiencies
Support root cause analysis, preventative, and corrective actions to reduce/eliminate non-conformances and dispositions
Maintain positive, team relationships with internal and external customers, as well as co-workers
Technical/Vocational/Corporate Quality Training or (High School diploma/GED with equivalent experience) required
Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Work requires basic computer and data entry skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inspection methods and techniques and following relevant work instructions including First Article Inspection (FAI)
Minimum 2 years of experience with ISO 9100 and/or AS9100 series quality requirements
Work requires willingness to work various shifts and some overtime, when required
Experience with procedures, work instructions, blueprint and technical documentation reading, and interpretation required
Experience with supplier oversight
Experience with collaboration with government oversight agencies such as Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and/or Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
Experience with quality Corrective Action Processes
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to see or correct to 20/25
Ability to hear
Ability to pass color eye test
Ability to stoop and bend
Ability to use arms and hands
Conforms with the company’s and government Drug and Alcohol program requirements
