Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5 (40 hours) Hybrid Eligible (5 days/month req)


Responsible for developing, executing and managing test plans for multiple applications. Ensure that all internal and external applications meet the end users requirements, respond to user inputs in a timely fashion and have efficient, logically constructed workflows. Perform a variety of testing including functional testing, regressing testing, load testing and user acceptance testing. Test code from various user perspectives, both manually and with automated tools. Collaborate with Development, Project Management and Business Analyst Teams to understand member usage, develop test plans for features, track bugs and support the technical implementation.

Assist in planning, designing and executing of the testing function within the Credit Union, including the care and maintenance of a test script library
Track defects through the entire defect lifecycle and work with business owners to triage bugs and manage the bug backlog.
Perform a variety of testing including functional testing, regressing testing, load testing and user acceptance testing both manually and automated tools.
Report the status of testing results and quality assurance plans.
Adherence to policies, procedures and documentation standards.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Manager(s).

Education and Experience Requirements:

BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience in test engineering
Experience in testing methodologies, test plan development, test case design, data collection, and reporting cycles
Ability to learn C#
Working knowledge of all aspects of the software development lifecycle
Experience working in an agile based environment
Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
Strong documentation skills

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier/scanner, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and to reach with hands and arms.
