Quality Assurance Manager FAA Repair Station

Summary:

Leads the Quality Assurance department for an FAA Part 145 Repair Station, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company quality standards.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in Quality Management within an aircraft MRO or FAA Repair Station
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, ISO systems, and Safety Management
• Experience supervising 10+ employees
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Degree in Aviation, Engineering, or Business preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manage quality operations and ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 145
• Maintain Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
• Oversee internal audits, calibration, training, and documentation
• Support FAA and customer quality requirements
• Drive continuous improvement and safety initiatives
• Prepare and manage department budgets

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, climb, kneel, and lift up to 75 lbs; fluent in English.
