The Fountain Group, a national staffing firm, are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Philadelphia, PA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: $35 – 41.38/hr
- 10-month assignment with possibility of extension based on performance and budget
- 100% Onsite role
- You will provide quality oversight and technical support for GMP manufacturing activities, including batch record review and product disposition.
- You will lead and support investigations related to deviations and CAPAs, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and compliant documentation.
- You develop and execute change controls following investigations, managing records through EDMS to support timely lot release.
- You will review, write, and approve SOPs, technical documentation, and quality reports.
- You will maintain quality metrics, support QMS and risk management initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (STEM or scientific discipline)
- 3-5+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (GMP/FDA regulated preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Quality Systems (Change Control, Investigations, CAPAs, EDMS)
- Strong technical writing skills, particularly for investigation reports
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMPs, and quality guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and external-facing environments
