Quality Assurance Specialist

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Philadelphia, PA 19114 (On-site). Details for the position are as follows:
 
Job Description:

• Pay rate up to $37/hr based on experience

• 6+month contract – (potential to extend or convert based on performance & budget).
• Serve as a key steward of the facility’s License to Operate (LTO) by ensuring ongoing compliance of products and processes manufactured on site, including interpretation and application of internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements for biologic combination products.
• Provide quality oversight, support, and guidance to cross-functional partners across Operations, Quality Control (QC), and Quality through robust Quality Documentation practices.
• Own and drive continuous improvement of critical Quality and Compliance business processes, including:
  • GxP Documentation Management
  • Quality Management Review
  • Annual Product Quality Review (APQR)
  • Internal Quality Standard Assessments
  • Additional compliance-related processes as applicable
• Apply Lean principles and methodologies—including structured problem-solving, 5S, and visual management—to enhance operational efficiency and quality performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution of Quality Documentation activities, including document archiving, logbook preparation, and record management.
• Actively engage in day-to-day operations as needed to support production schedules, address quality issues, and facilitate timely problem resolution.

 
Qualifications:

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Primarily Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Experience supporting the Quality Assurance teams in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical organization
• Experience working in Document Management System (Veeva preferred)
• Experience with data processing
