Job Description:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Audit in-process facility procedures and final quality of the vehicle to assure compliance with established quality standards.
Audit Rail and truck away procedures to customer’s standards.
Verifies all vehicles VIN numbers and that the work scheduled for the vehicle is complete.
Maintain quality control records according to requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all quality problems to management.
Follow up on countermeasures to provide input to management that procedure is in place and being followed.
Perform other assignments as directed.
Job Requirements:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Complete understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, accessory, distribution, rail, and body shop processes.
Ability to identify quality problems associated with vehicle and lead effort to construct and implement effective countermeasures to problems.
Complete understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, customer requirements concerning vehicle condition prior to shipment.
Ability to carry out specified work procedures and directions of supervisors or leads.
Be motivated and self directed.
Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmission.
Good communication skills, able to work well with others and keep good relationships with others.
Read and understand SOS and suggest changes.
