Recovery Worker
We are currently recruiting an experienced Recovery / Support Worker to support with upcoming shifts at a detox hospital in Wrexham.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in drug and alcohol services, detox, rehab, or addiction support, who are confident working in a clinical environment.
Available shifts:
*
7am – 7:15pm (Day)
*
1:15pm – 7:45pm (Late)
*
5pm – 12am (Twilight)
*
7pm – 7:15 am (Night)
Key responsibilities:
*
Supporting service users through detox and recovery programmes
*
Monitoring and recording observations (obs)
*
Assisting with bloods and ECGs where appropriate
*
Providing person-centred support within a structured clinical setting
*
Working alongside nursing and clinical teams
Essential requirements:
*
Previous experience in detox, rehab, or addiction services
*
Strong drug & alcohol knowledge
*
Ability to work a 12-hour shift
*
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
*
Right to work in the UK
