Registered General Nurse (RGN)

PE Global are looking for agency nurses to work across 2 Care Homes in Liverpool.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to join our healthcare team. You will work predominantly but not exclusively with older people.
The role:
• To be a role model and promote the highest standard of person-centered clinical nursing care to residents.
• Be the nominated nurse in charge and ensure safe staffing levels are met using the agreed patient dependency score tool. 2 nurses are on shift at all times.
• Work alongside the care team, ensuring a high quality of care is delivered.
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults.
• Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents’ care through written care plans
• Work supportively alongside clinical, care home colleagues and families in ensuring the highest standards of care for all residents.

Your focus is ensuring patients health needs, often arisen from multiple co-morbidities and frailty, are met with the appropriate level of care. You will work alongside the MDT to gain the best patient outcomes.
Working hours:
Day, night and weekend shifts are available.
08.00 – 20.00 and 20.00 – 8.00 – 7 days a week.
You can work a few shifts, a few weeks or contracts opportunities are available.
What you’ll need:
Experience working with care of the elderly patients/frailty within older persons environment/ community/social care /acute hospital setting.
Hold a valid NMC PIN – Sponsorship is not available.
Enhanced DBS.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
