Hepatitis Nurse Specialist – Gastroenterology
Tripod Partners are looking for a Hepatitis Nurse Specialist to join the Gastroenterology (Hepatology) department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), London. This role involves delivering expert nursing care and leading nurse-led clinics for patients with viral hepatitis. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, evidence-based care and education.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver an expert viral hepatitis nursing service within an integrated specialist team.

Run nurse-led clinics in line with agreed protocols and guidelines.
*
Coordinate care for complex patients undergoing antiviral therapy.
*
Monitor patients with hepatitis B in accordance with South East London sector guidelines, including HCC screening.
*
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and patient-focused care.
*
Provide education and advisory support to healthcare professionals and patients.
Position Details:
Location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital, London
Duration: 12 weeks
Hours: Full-time, 37.7 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £31 per hour
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday
Requirements:
*
NMC Registered Nurse (Part 1).
*
Substantial clinical experience in managing viral hepatitis.
*
Experience running nurse-led clinics and delivering specialist care.
*
Strong communication and coordination skills.
*
Right to work in the UK
£31/hour
