In Bremen, Germany we develop and manufacture the world leading mass spectrometry solutions for life science applications. To extend our nano LC-MS competence, we are looking for a Research & Development Scientist, Nano-LCMS (m/f/d).
Scientific support of our nano-column nanospray emitter production and extension of the product portfolio
Support and development of our nano-emitter product series and their integration into nano-spray ion sources
Support of our fitting and tubing products for nano-LCMS workflows. Development of new fitting systems
Manage R&D projects, working with a team of technicians and engineers to drive projects from concepts to market
Support our application scientists in creating scientific, technical, and marketing documentation
Drive the communication of activities / results internally and externally
Closely work with key customers, opinion leaders and project partners from academia and industry
Travel to visit partners and present at international conferences
Ph.D. or comparable work experience in the field of Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry or Physics.
Practical and theoretical competencies in nano-flow UHPLC+MS with 3+ years of experience.
Background in nano-column packing including personal hands-on experience
Background in nano-spray technologies and experience with nano-spray sources
Background in protein chemistry and liquid chromatography of proteins would be a plus.
Experience with developing solutions for regulated markets would be a plus.
Project management skills
You are used to work scientifically and autonomously within a larger and cross-functional team
International work experience would be a plus
