Responsibilities:
The is seeking a highly organized, motivated individual to contribute to projects investigating inflammation and autoimmunity. Duties will include performance of detailed molecular protocols, working with human cells and tissues, buffer and reagent preparation, cell culture, immunochemistry assays, general laboratory organization, and organization of data into tabular and graphical forms.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in one of the biological sciences, physics, or chemistry. Should be familiar with general lab techniques.
Basic knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software. Must be detail oriented. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently after initial training.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate GPA 3.2 or higher. Fluency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. At least one year of bench laboratory experience is preferred. Prior molecular biology experience is preferred.
Work Hours:
Typically Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00 pm.
