An ideal candidate has a PhD degree in organic chemistry or a related field (or Master s with 3 years experience) with experience in bioconjugation and/or antibody drug conjugate (Client) development. The candidate will be proficient in standard organic characterization techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, Q-NMR) as well as familiarity with bioanalytical techniques used for bioconjugation reaction monitoring/characterization (e.g. CE-SDS, icIEF, soloVPE, etc.). The candidate will work as part of a drug development team with a range of responsibilities including: conjugation reaction development, characterization of reaction profiles and kinetics studies, impurity and residuals removal (e.g. ultrafiltration/diafiltration) and commercial process development activities. The candidate will maintain laboratory notebooks and computer files, participate in group and project meetings. The candidate will work in a team environment collaborating with various colleagues in process development including process chemists and analytical chemists.
Preferred Qualifications:
" PhD in organic chemistry or a related field:
" 2+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry with experience in bioconjugation and/or ADCs
" Knowledge of bioconjugation/Client processes and analysis
" Competent in analytical techniques including NMR, HPLC and Mass Spec
" Familiarity with techniques for analyzing bioconjugates (e.g. SEC, HIC, etc.)
" Experience in reviewing and interpreting analytical data
" Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
" Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills
" Knowledge of basic software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
