Job Description
Software QA Engineer
Location: Beaverton, OR
AZAD Technology Partners is hiring a Software QA Engineer to be an impactful contributor by testing software that drives leading-edge manufacturing systems. The individual will join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers focused on developing cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
– Developing test plans
– Integrating test method/technology in the software testing
– Verifying the software implementations against requirements
– Regression testing software core functionality
– Communicating with development engineers and stakeholders about bugs or requirements discrepancies
– Helping to release the software
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
– Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
– Experience with testing capital equipment software or applications is a must
– Experience with software development metrology (Agile/Scrum)
– Familiar with Microsoft Technology (TFS, Git)
– Experience with software testing method/technology (such as Ranorex)
– Fundamental Engineering Knowledge (basic physics, calculus, problem-solving)
– Familiarity with industrial hardware (motors, sensors, etc.) is highly preferred
– Experience with unit testing is a plus
– Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Science, or related discipline is preferred
