Salary: Up to £55,000 FTE
Role Purpose
As a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments for children and young people referred for autism and ADHD. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure accurate diagnoses and compassionate communication with families, supporting better outcomes and access to care.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct structured face-to-face observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via secure digital platforms.
Contribute to multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions and case formulations.
Deliver clear and compassionate feedback to families following assessments.
Produce high-quality clinical reports, supported by AI-assisted tools and digital workflows.
Maintain compliance with service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and clinical governance standards.
Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice sessions.
Support service development and efficiency through feedback and collaboration.Requirements
Minimum of 1 year’s professional registration with one of the following regulatory bodies:
HCPC (e.g. Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist)
NMC (e.g. Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, Children’s Nurse, or General Nurse)
Social Work England (Social Worker)
Minimum of 1 year’s experience conducting diagnostic assessments for Autism and/or ADHD in children and young people including DIVA, ADI-R and ADOS.About the Service
