Position Title: SR QA Automation Engineer
Position Summary:
We're looking for a skilled QA Automation Enginee r to join our engineering team and drive quality across our applications and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with automation frameworks, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and JavaScript/Node.js based tools, with the ability to manage deployments, ticket workflows, and system reliability. Exposure to AI-driven testing approaches is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Playwright MCP, Cucumber, BDD, JavaScript, and NodeJS.

Build and extend automation coverage using additional frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress when required.

Participate in the full QA lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and reporting.

Own and manage the deployment testing process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.

Monitor deployment pipelines and notify the team immediately if issues arise or if something breaks during the deployment process.

Manage, triage, and update QA-related tickets, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.

Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Apply BDD principles to create clear, maintainable, and business-friendly test scenarios.

Leverage emerging AI-based testing tools or techniques to improve automation efficiency and coverage.

Contribute to process improvements, best practices, and ongoing QA automation strategy.
Must Haves:
-
6 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cucumber, JavaScript, and NodeJS.
- Understanding of BDD methodologies and experience writing Gherkin scenarios

Familiarity with Selenium and Cypress automation tools.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in both tests and applications.

Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively raise and track issues.
Plusses:

Experience with Playwright MCP or multi-component Playwright frameworks.

Exposure to AI-driven testing or LLM-assisted quality tools.

Background working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Knowledge of cloud platforms or DevOps tools is a plus.
