Rapyuta Robotics is hiring a Quality Engineer capable of delivering high quality complex customer projects of Pick Assistant Autonomous Mobile Robot solutions. The team works closely with some of the premier enterprise customers in the US and Japan to build state-of-the-art robotics solutions by leveraging rapyuta.io, our cloud robotics platform, and the surrounding ecosystem. The team’s mission is to pioneer scalable, collaborative, and flexible robotics solutions.
In the hiring process, we value engineering experience in the software domain, field engineering experience, and experience as an engineer in charge of testing, evaluating quality and driving improvements.
Responsibilities Work as a member of a project delivery for a robotics solution into customer operation
Responsible for the creation, planning, and execution of implementation test scenarios based on the unique requirements of each project
Work closely with project managers to complete project tasks within designated timelines
Gathers and analyzes information that leads to improvements in products and various processes from the results of introduction testing, etc., and makes proposals as appropriate to the relevant parties within the company
Create, update, and manage documentation and processes to enhance quality and efficiency
Conduct field testing at customer sites
Create, maintain and update test suites for software features
Improve test coverage across code base
Streamline testing process to reduce test execution time at customer sites
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years of experience in software engineering as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Automation Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Robotics, or related field
Experienced programmer in either Python, C++ or similar
Experience creating technical test scenarios from high-level specifications
Excellent English communication skills
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to write technical documents such as test scenarios and reports
Interest in implementing new technologies and solutions in society
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with a testing framework such as such as Selenium, Playwright or similar
Experience in ROS, CI/CD practices
Field engineering experience in robotics or factory automation
Knowledge of infrastructure such as networking and cloud computing
