Registered Veterinary Technician  (part-time)Location: Ft. Harrison Veterinarians – Lawrence Village, Indiana

Ft. Harrison Veterinarians is looking for a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our multi-doctor, progressive practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with both people and animals, and love being part of a supportive team, we’d love to meet you!

For over 30 years, Ft. Harrison Veterinarians has been a trusted partner in pet care for the community. We maintain a small clinic feel while offering the advanced diagnostics and services of a larger facility, including:

Full-body x-ray and new dental x-ray systems.

New Integra ultrasound and a full suite of Idexx in-house lab equipment (ProCyte, two Catalyst units, Sedivue, UA Analyzer, Snap tests).

New dental unit and surgical laser.

Paperless records with a cloud-based software system for streamlined operations.

Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Technician, your duties will include:

Assisting veterinarians during patient exams, treatments, and surgeries.

Administering medications, vaccinations, and therapeutic treatments.

Performing diagnostic tests, including radiography, bloodwork, and urinalysis.

Monitoring anesthesia and providing post-operative care.

Conducting dental cleanings and using digital dental radiography.

Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.

Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean, organized clinic environment.

Qualifications

Experience: Registered Veterinary Technician is required.

Skills: Strong diagnostic, technical, and communication abilities.

Mindset: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
