This is an exciting opportunity to join FMC Stine Research Center reporting directly to the Director of Discovery Chemistry, FMC Agricultural Solutions. This position is highly visible and communicates with contacts and functions at all levels in the organization. The successful candidate will perform a full range of complex secretarial, administrative and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature. – Provide high-level administrative support for the Discovery Chemistry management staff. – Place non-routine orders and run reports related to purchasing activities utilizing procurement systems. – Plan and coordinate meetings involving other parts of FMC or outside companies. – Arrange travel schedules and reservations for the Discovery Chemistry management staff. – Support management of complex and confidential records, including managing SharePoint sites. – Prepare or edit communication emails for distribution. – Proof presentation materials. – Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. – Follow through on issues in a timely manner. – Assist in planning site events. – 5-10 years prior experience required supporting senior level management. – A certification program, associates or college degree is a plus. – Advanced training in Microsoft applications including Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other applications. – Experience in SAP is a plus. – Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments. – Ability to follow through with all projects until final delivery. – Ability to work well in teams and to take on projects from staff members. – A strong customer service disposition; ability to deal with numerous functions and a strong attention to detail. – Ability to learn key FMC business processes.
