Job Description

The successful candidate for the Compound Management Scientist II position will join the PathHunter Services team with a multifaceted approach for providing high value services based on the DiscoverX PathHunter platform and other proprietary technologies. The position will focus on the management of reference and customer compounds and operation of liquid handling equipment.

* Receipt and storage of customer compounds.
* Registration of customer compounds in database.
* Notification of compound receipt.
* Managing reference compounds inventory, including ordering, database entry and records of certificate or analysis.
* Maintaining inventory for consumable items.
* Reconstituting new compound stocks as required.
* Generating compound plates for testing.
* Programming and operation of liquid handling equipment.
* Maintenance of equipment, scheduling regular PMs
* Performing routine weekly QC of instruments and pipettes.
* Participation in routine lab maintenance/ clean up.
* Participation in Capacity management and maintaining 5S in Lab
* Managing junior personnel.
* Daily laboratory notebook entry.
* Weekly progress report generation.
* Participation in and presentation at group laboratory meetings.
* Perform other duties as required and assigned.
* May need be required to run some cell-based assays.
