SunIRef:AV003 The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Test and Evaluation Lab Technician to join our Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT & E) organization in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at Tinker Air Force Base for the B-1 Bomber Avionics Integrated Support Facility (AISF). The AISF laboratory operations is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and upgrading avionics hardware and special test equipment used to support development and testing of operational flight software. The Laboratory Operations team that this position is part of is made up of engineers, technicians, and cyber security. Position Responsibilities: Participation in test design, procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test-related problems Performs preventative maintenance on lab equipment Performs classification and de-classification of test equipment Performs equipment and material inventories Supports generation and modification of hardware configuration paperwork This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) Experience with electrical/electronic schematics and drawings Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment Experience in avionics and/or aircraft computing systems Experience in aircraft, avionics, flight controls, and/or other electronics Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): B-1 aircraft avionics experience Experience with simulation systems used to test avionics software Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years’ related work experience, etc.).
