Job Description: Role Summary/Purpose: Synchrony is continuing to build a best in class Performance Media and Creative Agency committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within this agency, our Earned Media Team is focused on growth and engagement by identifying and seizing opportunities within Social, SEO and Content. We are seeking an AVP, Search Engine Optimization to deliver consumer research and own all SEO reporting. This role will coordinate with internal stakeholders, aiding in the development of monthly reporting, case studies and quarterly business reviews. This position is currently remote, where you’ll be work from home, but may be required to work in one of our offices in the future or occasionally commute to one our offices for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities: + Own SEO reporting dashboards and monthly delivery of findings, including but not limited to holistic reporting and various dashboards (P & L specific, content, technical SEO dashboards) + Responsible for the creation of dashboards or various tools needed in accomplishing requested analyses, including visualization tools and managing 3rd party data integration into those dashboards + Lead development of strategic data modeling framework as it relates to SEO insights and SEO’s ability to integrate into other marketing channels + Work with Technical and Content SEO leads, business analytic teams and media teams to populate monthly reports for distribution + Translate business objectives into trackable KPIs across marketing channels. + Identify consumer search habits through keyword research and own reporting dashboards that review consumer trends through search data. + Lead collection of information to be presented in Quarterly Business Reviews. + Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of degree, a high school diploma/GED and 7+ years of marketing or agency experience focused on analytics and digital marketing + 4+ years of analytics experience forecasting, reporting and performance modeling on marketing campaigns across multiple channels (web, search, display, social media, email, etc.) + 2+ years of digital marketing experience; preferably with SEO + Experience working with tools like Tableau, Microsoft BI, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Big Query and Google Search Console. + Working knowledge of API with the ability to help troubleshoot integration issues Desired Characteristics: + Proven experience communicating with and presenting to clients/stakeholders + Strong data visualization skills and tool experience; ability to tell a clear story with data + Experience building dashboards and analytical or process tools for digital marketing stakeholders + Experience with or directing resources on using ETLs or using either Python or R for statistical analysis and data science + Experience building governing data management processes including integration setup, QA and ongoing analysis of data + 1+ years’ experience with cross-channel journey planning and eCommerce strategy + 1+ years’ experience working with MiniTab, SPSS, SEMRush, BrightEdge, seoClarity or similar tools strongly preferred + Fundamental knowledge of stats particularly on hypothesis testing and regression analysis Eligibility Requirements: + You must be 18 years or older + You must have a high school diploma or equivalent + You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process + You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. + New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. The salary range for this position is 60,000.00 – 130,000.00 USD Annual Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
