Sharp HealthCare Facility:Sharp McDonald Center CitySan Diego DepartmentPsych Adult Chem Depend Job Status Part-Time Shift Day Job FTE 0.5 Shift Start Time Shift End Time Variable Location This position is located in Serra Mesa, San Diego County Hours Part-Time (.5) position. 8-hour variable day shift; including weekends as needed Required Skills and Qualifications – Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or related field from an accredited graduate program – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association – Effective interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Skills and Qualifications – Completed or currently enrolled in an APA-accredited Doctoral program in Clinical, Counseling or School Psychology (i.e., awarded or working towards a PhD, PsyD or EdD) – Completed or current enrolled in an APA-accredited Doctoral Internship program in Clinical Psychology – Experience in chemical dependency – Knowledge of chemical dependency population and third-wave treatments of CBT, including ACT and DBT – Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) experience – Acute/psychiatric hospital experience, discharge planning/case management experience Sharp HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Activities include providing individual, group, and family therapy, developing and updating the master treatment plan, conducting compressive psychosocial assessments, and providing information/referral services. Experience conducting Utilization Reviews with Insurance required. Assists in providing technical guidance on the day-to-day operations of clinical services, and acts as a resource for the program in Performance Improvement, Patient Safety, integrated client safety programs and proactive risk identification and reduction.
