BFT – Research Assistant for MGH! We are hiring for a temporary Research Assistant to work on a project with the Pediatric Psychopharmacology department at MGH. The research assistant would be working with young adults with ADHD. Please find attached the requisition Please note that this position requires three (3) 15hrs days (~5:30am-8pm) on Monday or Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Tasks: – Schedule Subject Uber and Schedule Personal Lyft (the day before) – Complete covid screen with participant (the day before) – take the Covid screen with you to MIT to be completed by the subject upon their arrival – Fill out MIT COVIDPass to ensure compliance with MIT guidelines (the day before) – Get Covid Tested at least once a week – Send confirmation of Uber information at around 6am on the day of the driving visit (depending on when the Uber is confirmed) – Prepare for subject arrival at MIT o Set up blood pressure monitor o Open all locked doors o Review participant screen information and ensure binder is prepared for subject visit – Confirm Final Subject Eligibility o Take participant Height/Weight o Record participant blood pressure o Perform breath alcohol test o Perform urine pregnancy test (if subject is female) o Confirm changes in participant concomitant medication o Scan information and send via Adobe Sign to Principal Investigator for final signature, then call the PI to ensure the receipt of the information and to review the subject’s eligibility prior to signature o Send text to study nurse to confirm subject codename and eligibility – Escort participant to the driving simulator 3 times throughout the day – Perform questionnaire asking about participant’s symptoms after each drive – Record all adverse events – Order participant lunch and dinner via Uber Eats – record what the participant eats throughout the day – Communicate with study Principal Investigator and study sponsors throughout the day if any adverse events arise – Take participant blood pressure four-hours post-dose (and again, as needed, if any adverse events arise) – Schedule Uber to send participant home at the end of the day. – Scan the completed adverse events and questionnaires to study coordinator Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Psychology or related field Please note this position is temporary in nature and not eligible for benefits.
