Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices as well as online and digital channels. This leader position within Operations Effectiveness Team (OET) – Consumer Collections and Servicing (CCS) will lead a team of professionals on the Regulatory Audit Engagement Management (RAEM) Team. OET supports multiple product types (i.e. Credit Card, Retail Services, Personal Lines & Loans, Educational Finance, Overdraft Deposit Accounts) as well as high-risk business operational functions (i.e. Bankruptcy; Collections; Servicing & numerous operational support functions). This broad-based support requires an expansive view and understanding of operations; processes; risks; regulations; state statutes; systems of record and highly matrixed relationships. Partnership, collaboration & consulting provided to hundreds of Supervisors, Managers & Leaders across CCS. Multiple products & operational areas represented within CCS results in a notable volume of audits, testing & general inquiry engagements from internal risk organizations and regulators. Heightened expectations of financial institutions requires demonstrated transparency & control of their operations. It is critical that each of these engagements are properly managed in order to ensure accurate information is conveyed & potential concerns are addressed. Specifically you will: – Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. – Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
