If you are an individual who is open-minded, positive, and has a strong commitment to quality and results oriented, then this is the role for you! This role carries out a complex scope of inter-disciplined assignments while interacting with teams spread across the world and has key expertise in the following areas: Biochemical characterization Analytical method development, validation, optimization and implementation Tactical analytical problem solving Implementation of new technologies Serves as a technical contributor and manages whole or major parts of analytical project plans, programs and bioanalytical work supporting our various customers. Serves as a key technical resource and analytical problem solver within the Bioanalytical Group and the company overall. Uses project management skills to work as part of a team with internal and external customers in identifying, prioritizing, coordinating and accomplishing specific project objectives. Conducts internal and external training and assessments – including on-site visits. Must have the ability to identify, evaluate, develop and implement other methods and technologies as the need arises. Works with Bioanalytical Management and team to align resources needed to complete project objectives. Contributes to overall strategic and operational plans for the Group. Serves as a resident expert in one or more technologies and/or functions. Maintains relationships and programs with contract, governmental or academic labs. Job Requirements Requires a Bachelors/Masters degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years overall experience in an industrial lab setting. Periodic travel will be required. Must have experience working with proteins; HPLC is a plus. You have good organizational skills with strong attention to detail. You have strong computer skills (required); proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. You have a good work ethic with high work standards. You have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and plan responsibilities to meet customers’ needs.
