The Clinical Hematology Laboratory Scientist ASCP will join a highly advanced clinical team and will work in depth with an innovative group of nurses, high quality diagnostic and ancillary services, and a broad array of sophisticated equipment technology. The Clinical Hematology Laboratory Scientist ASCP will work in a fast-paced medical laboratory setting that provides quick and accurate testing when patients need it most. The Clinical Hematology Laboratory Scientist ASCP will work with a laboratory department that is responsible for servicing every department in the hospital including the emergency department as well as the cancer center. The Laboratory services in total include hematology, chemistry, anatomical pathology, microbiology, blood bank, and reference department.
The Clinical Hematology Laboratory Scientist ASCP will work to accurately perform, circulate, and report selected laboratory tests and will maintain oversight of laboratory equipment. The Clinical Hematology Laboratory Scientist ASCP will work as a general rotator within the Hematology department and will be involved in multiple departments throughout the hospital. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work in both independent and team environments and should maintain a level of professionalism no matter where they work. The Clinical Hematology Laboratory Scientist ASCP will report directly to the Supervisor and Manager of the Hematology department.
