Entry Level Quality Engineer. The Boeing F-15 Quality Engineering team is seeking an Entry Level Quality Engineer to join the team in Saint Louis, MO . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS). This position will require the support of the F-15 manufacturing production line in St. Louis including issue investigation, corrective action management, and containment of non-conforming product. This role will require cross functional engagement, teaming, and communication with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and various other functions. Position Responsibilities Integrates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience): Bachelor’s degree or 3 + years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience): Experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard. Experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications. Experience with data analysis and/or data mining. Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS). Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
