In this role you will be an integral member of interdisciplinary core teams, and closely partner with the leadership of the supported functions and the operating company. You will be part of the operating company s finance team and report to the Senior Manager of FP&A. This position belongs to Microbiology, a nested Operating Company of Beckman Coulter, located in West Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: * Develop annual budgets and monthly expense forecasts in collaboration with functional leaders and program managers. * Prepare and present monthly financial reports and analyze financial performance vs. expectations for departmental expenses and development projects. * Forecast, measure and analyze the commercial performance (ROI) of new products against expectations. * Conduct ad-hoc planning and analysis to support the business and senior management. * Prepare and maintain standard financial reporting packages. The essential requirements of the job include: * Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required with 5+ years experience OR Master Degree with 3+ years experience OR Doctoral Degree with 0-2 years’ experience. * 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance * Ability to present and explain financial reports and analysis to both finance and non-finance audiences * Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: * Microsoft Power BI, SQL * Oracle ERP / Oracle Business Intelligence * MBA and / or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Sacramento is filled with opportunities.
