We are looking for a motivated Automotive Validation Engineer to use your creativity to work on the autonomous vehicle platform with the highly inventive and knowledgeable team. In this role, you are responsible for the execution of validation tasks for Tegra and GPU based NVIDIA automotive products. You will work with design and other validation engineers to obtain measurements, solve bugs and support the team toward the end goal of releasing new products to market. You will be working in a highly dynamic exciting engineering environment. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that quality products are brought to market. You should have lab environment experience and should demonstrate a passion towards product and validation. As a key member of NVIDIA’s global Automotive engineering team, this role is located in Germany, Wuerselen, with fulltime and permanent employment contract. What you’ll be doing: – As part of this team you will take part in board level debug and validation of NVIDIA’s Automotive products. – Validation of the product’s features, circuits, components and ports. – You will part of a team driving board level validation issues to closure using resources within the engineering team including hardware engineering and software engineering. – Commit to the development of new validation procedures. – Participate in the definition of diagnostics for engineering and production builds. What we need to see: – Flexible and team oriented, "can do" attitude. – Exposure to Embedded and PC architectures, various control, memory and communication components, high speed buses and DDR memory interfaces > 1Ghz – GDDR5/DDR3. – Basic understating high speed signaling principals and concepts related to design. – Multi-phase switching power supply validation experience a strong plus. – Some exposure to various programming and scripting languages, C/C++ / Java Script, Linux – Experience with the latest Tektronix andKeysight oscilloscopes along with debugging techniques to solve complex board level problems. – Background with Embedded or PC system troubleshooting & bringup very useful.
