YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE We are looking for a Laboratory Dishwasher/Lab Assistant – copy in 3688 Kinsman BLVD, Madison, WI 53704 USA. Your mission will be to: We are currently seeking a Laboratory Dishwasher/Laboratory Assistant to provide assistance to our technicians and scientists. Previous Laboratory Experience is helpful but not a requirement – relatable/similar work environment experience will also be considered!! Your mission as a Lab Dishwasher/Lab Assistant: – Dispose of post-enrichments, wash laboratory supplies, and prepare media used for sample processing. Responsibilities of Position: – Media preparation in the form of broth, test tubes and agar for use in pathogen testing as required. – Sterilize contaminated lab supplies for analysis. Autoclave post-enrichments before discarding. – Wash containers used in analysis and return to the laboratory for the next test. – Autoclave media to sterilize for the next use. Discard waste and sanitize the work area after each process. – Ensure that the media and materials are prepared for the next testing sequence. – Media QC inoculation and verification. – FSU water room operation. – Assist other laboratory personnel performing testing procedures as instructed by the supervisor. The Lab Dishwasher/Lab Assistant we are looking for has: – The ability to work Tuesday through Saturday schedules is required to be considered for this position. Overtime work will be available.
