This is the position for a Research Laboratory Manager. The Lab Manager will support the Principal Investigator in the organization of the laboratory (preparation of amendments to IACUC, IRB and IBC protocols), supervision of mouse breeding colony management (breeding strategies, supervision and validation of genotyping results), handle the purchase and maintenance of lab equipment and supplies, conduct research experiments (PCR, ELISAs, western blots, flow cytometry) and train students in these methods including help with trouble shooting. They will assist the PI with the graphical layout and preparation of publication-grade data figures (GraphPad Prism, PowerPoint) for manuscripts / research grants and assist with literature searches. Required Skills Bachelors degree in Life Sciences (Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.) required, Masters degree preferred . 0 to 12 months experience with research animals (mice), Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Part-time work (minimum of 50% time) will be considered. This is a grant funded position.
